PRIVACY
KEEP IT
LIGHT.
DROP A BATTLE is designed to work without an account. We collect the minimum data needed to keep voting reasonably fair, understand whether battles spread, and operate the service.
WHAT WE STORE
We may store a random browser token, one-way hashed browser and network identifiers, your coarse country as provided by our hosting platform, the side you voted for, and product events such as opening, creating, or sharing a battle.
WHAT WE DO NOT STORE FOR VOTING
We do not need your name, phone number, social account, or raw IP address to cast a normal vote. Network signals used for abuse controls are stored as one-way hashes rather than raw addresses.
WHY
These signals help us limit repeat voting and spam, detect suspicious vote velocity, show aggregate results, measure product performance, and protect the service from abuse.
PUBLIC CONTENT
Battle titles and aggregate results are public by design and may be indexed or shared outside DROP A BATTLE.
This launch notice will evolve as the product adds features. Last updated September 12, 2026.
